Along with the Speedmaster, the Seamaster line is one of the most well known Omega collections. The Seamaster Cosmic 2000 line was produced in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It presented a new aesthetics to the line, with a stainless steel case and press-in case back, with beautiful dials and unique case form. The piece we present has a blue sunburst dial that contrasts with the white applied hour markers and the white raised outer minute track, giving it a unique tridimensional effect. You also get an applied Omega logo at 12 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock. It has an universally pleasing 38mm diameter, powered by a caliber 1022 automatic movement, and matched with a blue leather strap with an Omega buckle. This timepiece has been evaluated by a professional watchmaker, and as it is a vintage watch we advise you to take special attention not to submit it to any water or humidity. Also, although it is working completely fine you have to remember it was built many years ago, so you should not expect time keeping accuracy similar to todays more rigorous standards.

This is a great entry level Omega, especially if you are a vintage addicted like us. This is a watch that goes great with a variety of different leather strap colours, so it can be adapted to your various outfits and daily occasions.

Its historical significance is intertwined with the exploration of Mt. Everest. In 1953 Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay whore a white Rolex Oyster Perpetual as they ascended Mt. Everest’s peak for the first time. With that marketing and branding stunt Rolex wanted to show the world its Oyster case capabilities, which eventually resulted in the release of a watch similar to the one that conquered Mt. Everest. In that same year the Explorer reference 6350 was released, with a diameter of 36mm and the first to feature the iconic “Explorer” name on its dial. It also had the other features that defined the Explorer line on years to come: a black dial and numerals at 3, 6 and 9.

The timepiece showcased is the 2021 Rolex’s reinterpretation of the Explorer. A call to its origins and an instantly classic iconic watch. The new Explorer (reference number 124270) presented us with an unexpected move from Rolex: undersizing from a 39mm to a 36mm diameter, the historically accurate size of the watch. Its case is made of 904L Oystersteel (with higher corrosion resistance and higher surface hardness) and is powered by the in-house caliber 3230, with a 70 hour power reserve. This is a Superlative Chronometer movement that has not only passed the COSC (Control Officiel Suisse de Chronometres) certification (-4/+6 seconds maximum deviation per day) but was subsequently tested to Rolex’s own criteria (-2/+2 seconds maximum deviation per day), a much stricter certification. Its hands, numerals and markers are filled with Chromalight material, which emits a beautiful blue tone in darker conditions. The case and the bracelet are fully brushed on the flat surfaces, with polished accents on the sides, and the bezel is also polished, giving a prestigious look and feel to this luxury piece. This watch has never been worn and comes in factory condition, with its  full set, minus the stickers (it only has the case back sticker), and is still under the original 5 year Rolex warranty, as shown in the pictures.

The timepiece showcased is one of Sinn’s pilot watches, the Sinn Flieger 356 II Sa. The main feature of this watch is obviously its copper electroplated guilloche dial, unlike any other you have ever seen. Its guilloche goes from the center to the periphery of the dial, in a uniform but wavy pattern, giving it a distinct and powerful presence. This is a well-proportioned piece, with a 38,5mm diameter satinized steel case and a lug-to-lug distance of 45,6mm. Along with the signed screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, you have pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock to work the chronograph function. In the main dial you have two chronograph subdials and a seconds subdial, as well as a date and day window (in German) at 3 o’clock. The hands and hour markers are coated with luminescent material and protecting all this features is a domed sapphire crystal. The beating heart of this watch is an automatic winding mechanical chronograph movement with a power reserve of up to 62 hours, with shock resistance. Finally there’s waterproof and pressure-resistance of up to 10 bar. This watch has been previously used but is in superb condition. It comes with box and papers and has been revised by an experienced watchmaker.

This timepiece is a real conversation starter that demonstrates your non-conformant stand in the watch market, showing your knowledge with one of the greatest German brands and one of the most technologically advanced in the world. A watch that will stand out in any collection and that will certainly endure the test of times.

The timepiece presented here is a Seiko SKX007-J1, perhaps Seiko’s most well know and iconic watch, that already has a significant group of followers. This watch is, and has been for some years, the “entry drug” to the watch collecting addiction of many collectors worldwide. If you never saw one in person, trust us… it will impress. Even more if you consider the budget needed to acquire this watch in comparison with others that will certainly take a bigger hit to your wallet. And lets not forget its reputation for accuracy, practicality and durability. This is also a J1 reference, which means that it’s really made in Japan, unlike the K reference. The first thing that stands out is that the “whole package” just gets everything right in terms of aesthetics. The black dial is super legible, under Seiko’s Hardlex scratch-resistant synthetic mineral crystal, with a handy day-date window a 3 o’clock and great luminescence on the hands and hour markers that will get you a great read in darker conditions. The crown is comfortably positioned at 4 o’clock, further contributing to the sporty looks of the watch. The unidirectional metallic bezel has a beautiful and practical polished ribbed outer surface, which gives a firm grip to turn in harder conditions. Its 7S26 automatic self-winding movement has 21 jewels and provides up to 40 hours of power reserve. And you can also count with a 200 meters water resistance to get you through your underwater trials. This watch was never worn and comes in factory condition, with its  full set, minus the stickers (it only has the case back sticker), as shown in the pictures.

This is the only daily usage and diver watch you may need, with the toughness required for your adventures, but also a chameleon adequate for more formal occasions. This timepiece is a previously-owned Steinhart GMT Ocean 1 Blue/Red 2, in excellent condition. When you see the watch in person you notice that it  does have presence and makes a statement. This isn’t just another homage watch, it’s bigger and heavier than it looks, you feel it in the wrist and at 42mm in diameter it accommodates to the majority of people without any problem. Its deep black dial with applied hour markers is beautifully ready for any occasion, providing high legibility in darker ambients, which is further enhanced by the luminescence in all the hands and markers. Two red applications contrast in the dark dial, the inscription “Ocean GMT” and the GMT hand itself which lets you track a second timezone. Protecting all of these features is a sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, and a case made of 316L stainless steel, all in all providing a water resistance of up to 300 meters. The date window is placed at 3 o’clock with a magnifier. Its 120 clicks unidirectional aluminum bezel contributes to its classic diver design, easy to turn and allowing to track a second or third timezone with the blue/red (aka “Pepsi”) color scheme. Powering this piece is a ETA 2893-2, automatic movement with 21 jewels, providing up to 42 hours of power reserve. Finally there’s the 5 links jubilee bracelet, satin brushed and easy to adjust because of its screw links, with a safety deployment clasp and engraved logo. This watch comes in its full-set, with box and papers, as seen in the photos.

Either you need a daily watch for any occasion, a diver watch with proper water resistance or a timepiece that allows you to track different timezones for your business ventures, this Steinhart does it all. The timepiece presented is a Grand Seiko SBGV225G, part of the brand’s Heritage Collection and one of the entry points to Grand Seiko’s watches. But this is not “just another basic watch”. First launched in 1967, the Doxa Sub 300T has established itself as one of the most recognisable diving or utilitarian watches in the market. Its success was determined by the many new features it presented, such as the unique bezel with an inner elapsed time scale and an outer secondary ring with the United States Navy No-Decompression dive chart (allowing the wearer to determine decompression times and safe periods between dives). It was also supported by the diving world legend Jacques-Yves Cousteau and the United States Divers group.

Besides its patented bezel, the DOXA Sub 300T models are available in a few different dial colours (including the characteristic and iconic orange dial, that was a first in dive watches when it was introduced), a “cushion” case, box glass and a “beads-of-rice” bracelet with a spring-loaded diver’s extension, all of these creating the DOXA SUB300T iconic design.
